Terms & Conditions

Dogs are living creatures and their behaviours naturally change over time due to factors such as age, and changes in their environment. Any guarantee in these Terms and Conditions cannot circumvent these factors.

​

Trainer cannot guarantee any individual dog’s ability to learn and/or understand training cues or signals or to desensitise to fear or aggression triggers.

Payments

 

  • The client is required to pay Kay 9 Training and Wellbeing when a booking is made.

  • 7 days notice must be given for rescheduling a booking. 

  • 14 days notice must be provided prior to the scheduled booking to receive a full refund. Less than 14 days notice you will only receive a 50% refund.

  • No refunds will be issued for any unused training sessions.

  • Kay 9 Training and Wellbeing reserves the right to cancel any bookings. Any bookings cancelled will be rescheduled for a later date.

Client’s Responsibility

​

By working with Kay 9 Training and Wellbeing you agree -

  • To provide details if your dog has ever bitten a person/other animal.

  • If you are advised by us that a veterinary check is advisable it is your responsibility to ensure this is carried out.

  • To fully engage with the training programme and work with your dog to the best of your ability and understand that any changes will involve commitment and consistency.

  • To understand there are no quick fixes when working on behaviour issues.

  • Not to use aversive tools (anti-pull harness, prong collars, e-collars, choke chains, rattle cans, water sprays) while undertaking training. 

  • Be open and honest in providing information.

  • Have an open mind with regards to potential solutions, changes and strategies.

 

Digital Media

I authorise RELEASED PARTIES to use: Film photographs, Digital photographs, Video footage, Audio recordings, Testimonials procured in the course of training.

Disclaimer

Owners understand that modifying behaviour poses a risk of injury. You are to ensure that necessary steps are taken at all times to prevent injury, including avoidance of situations that might trigger aggressive behaviour. Owners agree that Kay 9 Training and Wellbeing are unaccountable for any and all losses, liabilities, judgements and costs (including legal fees and expenses) arising out of, or related to, any claim of injury to person, property of any kind, whether before, during or after the consultation and when implementing suggested techniques with your dog.

Disclosure of personal information

Kay 9 Training and Wellbeing will not disclose, share, sell or rent any personal information we hold about you without your consent or are required by law to do so. Kay 9 Training and Wellbeing always considers security and confidentiality when handling personal information. It is important that the information we maintain and use is accurate, complete and up-to-date. If at any time your personal details change, please let us know so we can update our records.
